As 2021 rolled in, patterns emerged. Our many projects led us to engage in conversations with people from diverse backgrounds and positions in the field including professionals, autistic advocates, parents and friends. These conversations opened us up to real conversations about the status of our field and the myriad of ethical professional pitfalls and barriers to which many of us are exposed. People began to reach out to us regarding our leadership philosophy, our approach to business management, and treatment. We discovered that many professionals in the field felt isolated and alone in their own encounters with professional ethics in the workplace. Sam and Eric started advocating for the ABA professionals without a voice and with little to no perceivable options.
The rest is....history? A disaster? Comedy?
